2012 BOLD NFL predictions thread
I really enjoyed the one we did last year, and seeing as how we have a bunch of prediction threads yet no bold predictions thread, here we go.
Just a reminder, these have to be outlandish, off-the-wall predictions that will most likely never become true. In other words, think outside the box. I'll even give you an example: Average, regular prediction: London Fletcher will have 100 tackles this year. BOLD PREDICTION: London Fletcher will be NFLDPOY and lead the league in forced fumbles as well as INTS. And off we go: RG3 will pass/run for a combined 60 touchdowns this season. Kerrakpo will combine for at least 35 sacks between the two of them this season. We will start the season 12-0. Orakpo after becoming good at non-bull rushing options, will set the Redskins record for sacks in a game with at least 4.5. DeAngelo Hall will not allow one deep completion on him all year long. Santana Moss will put up better numbers in all categories than his 2005 season. ------------------------ Warpath Bold Predictions: 12thman and SFredskin become D.Hall's biggest supporters. Smootsmack, after being repeatedly ignored in favor of random people who show up to randomly break old news, has a crisis of confidence and takes a sabbatical. Matty announces a new pay-per-post payment plan due to rising costs. Gtripp hacks the servers and cripples the board with a virus after too many people claim he's too smart/uppity to talk football with us. |
Re: 2012 BOLD NFL predictions thread
so what your trying to say is that the redskins will be the best team of all time?

I think you're reading into this too much. I'm just trying to pay homage to aceinthehouse's 14-2 prediction a few years ago. |
Re: 2012 BOLD NFL predictions thread
We will win at least one game
Now there's a bold prediction. |
Re: 2012 BOLD NFL predictions thread
Robert Griffin obliterates all of Cam Newtons passing and rushing records for a QB by at least 20%, and is a top 5 fantasy stud by the end of the year.
Josh Wilson leads the NFC in INTs, and Bowen/Orakpo/Kerrigan all have at least 10 sacks a piece. Our shiny new inside the 50 automatic kicker goes 100% over 50 yards with at least 8 attempts. :) |
Re: 2012 BOLD NFL predictions thread
This is probably a good time to announce I'm going on a sabbatical

Re: 2012 BOLD NFL predictions thread
London Fletcher wins the SB MVP. Does anyone see the irony here?

Come on SS, tell us the truth. Matty is suspending you for a year for running a bounty program. |

It's not really a bold prediction if you know it's going to happen... |
Re: 2012 BOLD NFL predictions thread
I predict we don't see D'Boys until next week after the CB get beat tonight and Giantstone will be on here first thing after the Giants win.
