Mike Shanahan Monday Press Conference Highlights (Bucs Game)
Some thoughts from Mike
-Bob had the best game of his career last year...his 4 game career. Does a great job putting offense in position -Aldrick Robinson will have to take some tests over the next couple of days. If it's ok, he can play on Sunday -Won't work out any kickers this week -Cue the dozen "Cundiff Suckkkkkkssssssssss" threads -Meriweather out at least one more week -Can't give up big plays -And 2+2=4 -Practice two minute drills on Fridays, prepare for these kinds of situations -Coaches thought maybe Robert had extended ball across first down marker but couldn't see so they challenged and used their time out -Similarly, I thought maybe a train was coming down the tracks but I couldn't see it but I kept walking down the train tracks toward the train until I was sure I saw it -Very impressed with Trent. Showed real leadership -Gave him a lava lamp and a bag of Chips a Hoy after the game in lieu of a gameball -WRs, particularly Morgan had their best day -Team jokingly threw a dozen footballs at Morgan after the game in lieu of just one gameball -Morris has exceeded expectations -Concerned about 3rd down conversions -Also concerned about if Barney and Robin will last...find out tonight on an all-new How I Met Your Mother!!! |

A lava lamp and chips ahoy sound better than any game ball!
I think that this year has been the best year I've ever seen at the Skins 2 minute drill. I remember the 2 minute drill with Rex last year............. :vomit: |

They were sending Grossman to the locker room to suit up for the last two minutes yesterday. He sprinted to the locker and then back to the field but was to late. They timed Grossmans sprint to the locker room, then timed RG3's walk to the locker room after the game was over. RG3's walk was still 2 seconds faster. |

Rex has the cardiovascular endurance required by the 2 minute drill.

Well...to be fair, they were not sure he was in good enough condition to run the two minute drill (McNabb to weigh in later after completion with his personal training staff). Despite conditioning concerns, he remains...Super Smart. |
