Cooley says he's hopeful of playing significant role for Redskins
 

Tight end Chris Cooley rejoined the Washington Redskins on Monday without assurances of regaining a starting job, but said he is ready to play immediately and hopes to fill a significant role on the team for the remainder of the season.
