Just a question: how should Victor Cruz comments about the Redskins not being a legitimate contender be taken? Is it disrespect? Should it be perceived that he was running his mouth? Or was he telling the truth that the Redskins are just a few pieces away from actually contending? The Redskins have the team to contend NOW and make a run at the post season. I for one feels he should stfu and play football.

It should be taken as disrespectful.

If you read the full quote, its truth, but its not something you say to an opponent, in my opinion.

Don't we need some CB's, S, RT?

I guess he's partially right, we won't know if the Redskins are legitimate until they kick some Giant ass on Monday night. Right? If we lose are the Redskins a legitimate playoff team?

I really don't understand why other teams fans post here??? I don't have the time to post on the skins forum that often and I really don't have time to post on a giants or cowboys forum

I've always found that when a player from another team makes derogatory remarks about your team...the best remedy is to go out and thoroughly kick their ass. Hopefully that's the way we handle it and Mr. Salsa will think twice about what he chooses to say about us in the future.

It is the truth and it is not disrespectful. In fact Cruz went out his way to speak truthfully and not be disrespectful. This is a stupid thread.
