Smoot to Jets? (rumor not confirmed)
 

Someone from Hailredkins.com said that smoot agreed to a 4 year deal with the jets. He said KFFL.com reported it.

With the Jets interested in Coles as well, it could be 2003 in reverse (a bunch of good Skins going to the Jets).

This cant make sense because he is too young to sign a 4 year deal. Plus its not even on KFFL and its not on and jets boards. Sorry, this could be bull....hopefully

As much as I want to agree with you I cant. Just about every rumor this offseason has panned out. There is certainly some truth behind these so called " Rumors"

I disagree with you. I highly doubt the Jets would give Smoot the high bonus he was looking for and only spread it over 4 years, they would murder themselves with the cap hit. Something is wrong with this report, either they got the # of years wrong, or Smoot is still a free agent.

Checked with a guy I know who used to work with KFFL and still has full access. Says they didn't say that anywhere.
