The Unscientific Thread

Roll up! Roll up!

Let's hear your hard-to-prove but possible tales!

Sasquatch, Big Foot and Unicorns. Whatever you've got, please post and see how many people are willing to believe.

KTHXBAI

Should this just be the "what mythical creatures do you believe in thread?"

One time, a Girl Scout came to my door to sell me Girl Scout cookies. I asked her how much a box of Thin Mints were, and she said, "tree fitty." It was about this time I noticed this "girl scout" was about 7 stories tall and a creature from the Paleolithic Era. I said, "get out of here got damn Loch Ness Monsta, I ain't givin' you no tree fitty." That was the end of that.

That seems a little hard to believe. $3.50 for cookies? They cost about double that here.

One time when I was a lot younger I had an incredible buzz on.
I could see out beyond our solar system.
It was like traveling with Jodie Foster.

Still waiting for anything close to evidence of something otherworldly.

No Sasquatch, ghost, UFO or Unicorn fans?

One time at a grateful dead show, on my birthday....i was seated next to an entire section of aliens that looked exactly like Guido from Star Wars. I looked over very casually at them because I was slightly taken a back by what I saw. One of them looked back really fast like "oh shit he can see us". I quickly looked back tward the stage, and heard one of them say "its ok....he doesnt look human". Next time i looked they were all just regular people? True story.

Has anyone ever seen the show Finding Bigfoot. Its about as funny as it gets when people are actually trying to be serious. They stay out in the woods at night banging on trees trying to get a reaction from bigfoot and every noise they hear must be bigfoot. One episode they left out donuts for bigfoot and when they return all they attracted was two cops.

I'm with you. That show is excellent when understood as a comedy. Just like <Ancient Aliens>.

K lived in the house 4 years, never anything wrong. Just your average 1200 square foot brick rancher. No roomates, just a 3 year old black lab and black kitty kat. My dog the last six months will go on sudden barking fits and bout 4 months ago in the middle of the night dog was barking in the corner of my room, nothing there. No one n the house or outside. This New Years day woke at 530 am and the dog was standing on the edge of bed barking at the door and hallway. Then she leaps like she was chasing something into the hallway. I get up, she is barking and wagging her tail in the living room so I just let her outside the house and she shut up. So walking through the house I flick all the lights on and walk back to my room to wait on her. When I cross the thread hold of my door clear as day: 3 loud stomps on the wood floors come from my living room/den area. It freaked me. No one outside the house, nothing falling, etc. I wasnt still drunk or anything like that.
