Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post

I posted this in the Part Trios thread, but I though this may deserve its own thread. I'd like to hear what you guys think as it pertains to both Mike Wise's as well as Donovan McNabb's advice for III and II. I completely understand why III and his camp did not contact McNabb after he tried to get in touch with him last year. Why would you call someone who throws your coach under the bus and says he will be the reason why you fail? Then why would you call him now after he airs out his opinions on how you are handling your life this offseason in the local paper? McNabb to me does not come off as genuine. He is just getting his name in the papers again. If he was genuine he would not have sat down in an interview to voice to him why he should have called him. He could have sent him an email not a public invitation. |
Re: Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post
I used to have a lot of respect for McNabb.
Used to ... |

I really hate mike wise

Re: Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post
I feel that McNabb comes off as genuine in the article, that he honestly cares and is trying to be a friend, but again, as others have stated, this needed to be done behind closed doors and not on a national scene. Somehow McNabb could have tracked down RG3, who i'm sure would have been receptive to meeting him....

Re: Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post
McNabb is a fraud and definitely not the type of person I'd want in RG3's ear.

Re: Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post
bottom line ... RGIII has his head screwed on right. He's got solid, grounded parents. He'll be fine.

J. Keim cannot get to the Post fast enough. He will upgrade their content 1000%.

Yeah and obviously he's not perfect, nobody is. But overall he's heading in the right direction. He doesn't need a bum like McNabb giving him advice on how to handle things. |
Re: Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post
McFlabb needs to stfu and go away.
I fail to see how he needs to get involved with anything regarding RGIII. And Mike Wise is an effing tool. |
Re: Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post
As soon as I saw the article today in the Post I read "McNabb" "advice" and "By: Mike Wise" and immediately went to read about the NBA.

Hahahahaaa. But seriously what a poisonous article this was. He bashes his old coach while trying to get the team's new QB to listen to his advice.... Like that would go over well at Redskins Park and with the fan base. Take advice from the QB who was awful here and refused to work with the coaches. |
Re: Donovan McNabb's comments in the Washington Post
Mike Wise makes Greg Doyel look like Mike Wallace. Had no clue trolls could be journalist.
McNabb character is more disappointing than his actual skill on the field. |

Pretty much sums it up. I will add that Mike Wise is horrible. This moron continues to grasp at straws and instigates the public to drum up any type of attention. **** this assclown. |
