That's hard to say because who knows how Favre would have developed under that system and to what pick the Falcons would have had.

oh yeah. but still, imagine if under atlanta's system he developed to the same performance he plays at today with the same kind of receiving core.

Then I'm sure that Atlanta would DEFINITELY not have gotten that pick they needed to land Vick...

This is from my prior posting on this thread:

"The year before then-general manager Charlie Casserly gave up the fifth selection in the first round of the 1999 to Mike Ditka and the Saints for two #1's, two #3's, a #4,5,6 and 7 round picks. The famous Ricky Williams for all my draft picks trade. Casserly then traded the Saints 1999 #1 (9th overall) #3 round and #5 round to the Chicago Bears for their 1999 first-round pick (7th overall) and picked Champ Bailey.
With these two trades, Casserly set up the Redskins to have three high first round picks in the 2000 draft and got us Champ Bailey. Then the FO, in all his genious fired Casserly and hired his lap boy Cerrato. Could you imagine how Casserly must have felt?

we had the chance to DRAFT ricky williams... casserly only made the most amazing move in GM history there, too bad LDS replaced him with monkey boy :( Casserly does a pretty decent job :)

He is doing a geat job here with the Texans. I am not a fan of the Texans, but I see Casserly putting together a solid, young team. He is building through the draft and doing it the right way.
If the Texans can solidify the offensive line (todays rumor is Texans are trying to get Orlando Pace) they will be in the playoffs this year or next. Although the AFC is a little stronger over all right now than the NFC. So it is tougher to make the playoffs.

Arrington made Brown at Penn St. Offenses where so fearful of LaVar, that opened the door for Brown.Problem is we don't use LaVar the way Peterno did. If we went to a 3-4 that would more then likely change. But Brown is so INJURY PRONE!

Hey yellow31 that is not the way you put together a solid ball club. Hell sign L.T.- we will get a couple of sacks out of him.
