SCOUT'S HONOR: First-round team target lists
foxsports.com has Winslow at the top of the Redskins list. They mention Taylor but the article makes it seem as if they are pretty set on Winslow

Seems to me no one knows what's going to happen. THis article has it about right: we'll take either Winslow or a great WR, or Taylor, or a d-lineman and picks. In other words, who knows? Draft day will be interesting!
All their predictions sound pretty reasonable except WR. We've got so many good ones right now why would we use the number 5 pick for another one when we have so many other needs as mentioned??? I don't see us picking a WR with 5!!!
its the theory of getting the best available player, its like the two teams who passed up on michael jordan, they needed centers and regreted that decision.
Michael Jordan wasn't exactly amazing in college, no one expected what they got out of him. Plus, who got drafted ahead of him Ewing and ?. I mean, Ewing wasn't exactly a slackey during his career!
I think this post hits on basicly everything we'll look at. WR is a stretch, but we can use it for barter bait. |
i think it was sam bowie and hakeem
You're right ITV, it was Hakeem then Bowie. The Blazers felt the inside presence of Bowie would be a nice complement to the slashing play of their young superstar Clyde Drexler. Unfortunately, Bowie's knees didn't agree
Hakeem was a great pick...that sweet fade away of his was just awesome. I wish he would have left the game on top of his game instead of ridding the bench.
Some athletes just don't know when to hang it up. Jordan with the Wizards? Ugh.
The two people drafted before Michael Jordan were Akeem Olajuwon and Sam Bowie and he was ACC player of the year and ACC athlete of the year in 1984 and played in the olympics in 1984.
