I caught a little bit of this at 5 am this morning. Didn't know if anybody else caught any of the documentary either yesterday or today.

Havent seen it, but these guys who did this Doc are super thorough and dont bs the truth. Heard its excellent and Paul Tagliabue comes off looking really bad, and deservedly so.

I thought that there were some problems with the piece but overall it was well done. Harry Carson did a great job as a kind of "color commentator."

It also was very sad and disturbing for anyone who loves the NFL.

Missed it, I was watching the Matt Millen "A Football Life" which was actually quite good. His stint with the Lions makes you forget what a great player and analyst he was prior to that disaster.

The big question is how it is handled going forward. When you have players taking calculated (poorly) risks with their head and they know what the consequences are, do we let them make the choice?

Every NFL fan should be 100% required to watch this documentary. Very telling of the kind of shenanigans the NFL has been doing, and the damage they have caused.

The part where they contacted Junior Seau's son to advise him against allowing the brain to be sent to [I]Dr[/I]. Omalu was particularly eye opening.

I did see some area's where they could have better represented NFL's policy and the reasoning behind it. It was like everything the NFL said was accompanied by a doom and gloom soundtrack with unflattering photographs of the commissioner.

Make sure you watch it if you can.

I agree completely, every football fan has to watch this. It definitely has made me look at football in a different light.

I saw it from the link. Thanks Balt. it is definitely shown from an "investigative journalist" viewpoint, but the NFL's behavior looks damning no matter how one might try to spin it. Agreed with others that everybody should watch this.

Eye opening for sure. Must watch for NFL fans. I tell you what I wish I could look into the future and see where the NFL is going to be in around 10-15 years it be real interesting.

I don't think football will be much different in 10 - 15 years but I doubt that there will be football as we know it today in 50-75 years.

I find it hard to believe that football can't survive when we have far more violent sports out there like boxing and MMA.

There's risk involved with any sport that involves contact.
