I agree but others and the NRA disagree . |
Re: Another school Shooting Nevada
I like how this story barely got any media attention because only two people died. When I first saw it last night it was already relegated to second page status on MSN. I guess since it's only 2 people dead it's apparently no big deal.

I can't imagine how tough that teacher must be to stand in front of a school shooter and ask him to put the gun down. RIP. |

It's not going to stop than either. As long as we continue to give these psychopaths media time, we are going to continue breeding these kinds of numb-nuts. |

Your correct. We need to arm our teachers. |

Father charged after 2-year-old fatally shoots herself - CNN.com
In New Orleans, a 5-year-old girl died June 23 after she came "into contact with a .38-caliber revolver and accidentally shot herself in the head" while her mother was at a store, police said. The girl's mother was charged with cruelty to a juvenile until the 5-year-old died, at which point prosecutors added a second-degree murder charge. A judge in the case threw out the murder indictment last month, and the district attorney's office said it would appeal the decision, CNN affiliate WDSU reported. In August, a 3-year-old boy in Dundee, Michigan, found a .40-caliber handgun belonging to a family friend on a closet floor in his home. He died after accidentally shooting himself in the head, police said. The family friend was charged with careless discharge of a weapon, a misdemeanor. Less than two weeks ago, 2-year-old Michael Garcia Jr. was taken to a hospital after shooting himself in the legs with a .45-caliber handgun registered to his mother, according to CNN affiliate WFTV. The boy's injuries were not life-threatening, and the boy's father was charged with child neglect, the station reported. Id like to see a law on the books that gives a mandadory sentences for parents who dont secure firearms that wind up killing or injurying other in situations above. |

Had that teacher been armed he might be here today and the killer dead. I don't like thinking we need to arm teachers but we can't leave them defenseless as we are now doing. |

Ok , in your world .....he aims and miss's and kills another student ,what do you tell that students parents oh well he needs more practice ?More guns aren't the answer. I'm sure the NRA will solve this for us . |

This case the kid was stopped but in the other cases we lost 12 to 30 plus students which one armed person could have stopped. |
