I think anyone with a clue knows Mike had total control of the franchise, from top to bottom. And it makes his leaks about Snyder being the push for RG, Snyder interfering with Mike's coaching/mentoring, look all the more pathetic.

As I've said before, it's hard to find a coach more responsible for his team's results than Mike Shanahan in DC, because he's had so much control. Along that same line of thought he's the worst coach in football right now.
We're "doomed" if RG3 is a bust? I wonder if Chicago thought that when Josh McCown came off the bench to outplay Cutler. Look how well Nick Foles is playing? In other words... every single year in the NFL a lower paid or lower drafted guy outplays the incumbent. That's the nature of professional football.

Also the bolded comments simply make 0 sense. So if Cousins comes in a plays like he did against Cleveland then that's not good enough??? SMH. Who gives a damn about a controversy? I want the best guy on the field.
Yes we are. For what we spent on him he has to be better than just a good QB. He has to be fantastic. Fantastic in a way that KC really has no shot to be.

If he plays like he did against Cle EVERY GAME FOR THE REST OF HIS CAREER it is not good enough. We spent 4 high picks. He has to be Brady/Manning/Rogers level. Not Phillip Rivers good.

If Shanny gets fired Haynesworth and McNabb will have a two man celebration party.

You do realize that:
A. They will eat all the food before you get there
or
B. Eat you for an appetizer

If he's the best guy then yes....I want Cousins. If we suck again next year, then I hope like hell it's Jameis Winston.
