If the glove don't fit you gotta acquit!

First of all, RIP Johnnie. My favorite lawyer of all time! I just love what OJ says in the article newbot posted from FOX:
Simpson, reached at his home in Florida, praised Cochran, saying "I don't think I'd be home today without Johnnie." He said other members of his defense team also deserved credit for his acquittal, but added: "Without Johnnie running the ball, I don't think there's a lawyer in the world that could have run that ball. I was innocent, but he believed it.
|

the only thing I truly remember about that case was watching the coverage of the infamous Bronco chase, and having someone call in, who was a loyal fan of Howard Stern...he was talking to Peter Jennings, and the caller signed off, "And a babbalouey to you too"

One thing about Johnnie is he did a lot of Pro Bono stuff. For every high profile celebrity case he did a bunch of pro-bono stuff. Often having to do with police brutallity.
Oddly enough, his son is a police officer in LA. |

I remember that too, they replay it once in a while on Stern, one of the funniest prank calls ever! |
