Giants vs Skins Pregame Thread

I know, its hardly been 24 hours since we lost and people are still plotzing, but its a short week and we only have 3 days (or 4 if you count all day Thursday) until kickoff.

If you're ready to leave losing behind, let's take a gander at Thursday night's matchup.

What's plotzing? Skins favored by 4. This is a MUST WIN with the Cards and Seahawks on the horizon. Need to win this and split the next 2.

Plotz is yiddish, meaning to be beside yourself. Depending on context, it can mean bursting with excitement, anger, frustration, etc..

"Platzen" is a German word meaning literally "to burst". So yeah, a lot of folks did just that after Sunday's debacle...

Don't want to drop to 0-2 in the division so early in the season. Big game, one I think we should win though.

Another way to look at is "We have only 3 days until a short kick-off."

Aren't I the clever boy?

It's s short week for the Giants, too, plus they have to travel.

The Gnats have been struggling on both sides of the ball. I think we not just take them, we put a bit of a beatdown on them.

After that we'll have 10 days to heal some of our many injuries.

Skins 31
Gnats 14

Except when your team needs to get that bad taste out of their mouth and its against a lesser opponent at home, AND we get 9 days off before hosting the superbowl champs because we play on a thursday. Except for that eff em. Lol

I love the optimism, but aren't we playing the team that just beat Houston, the very team we lost to in the season opener a short 2 weeks ago?

Can't start off 0-2 in the division. The Redskins will beat the Giants.

Yes but this is the NFL. That kind of topsy turvy crap happens all the time. The Raiders almost beat the Pats yesterday. So what? It was the first game of the year, and we did switch qb's midstream.
I think our offense picks up where it left off, and homefield helps our D.

nothing would make me happier than skullf*cking the giants this thursday night. This time i would like Chris Baker to follow up the Foles incident by teabagging Eli on prime time national tv.
