Eh, IMO not really. This just means the NFL can't rely on their support to black out games anymore. If the NFL wanted to agree to some ruling with the individual networks they still can.

The New York game really made people overreact, including me. We were definitely looking like an improved team before that debacle, but injuries to the two most important players on the defense, Reed, the starting LG, and many others that chipped away at depth, with no time for rest and recovery, was just too much. The team walked through every practice leading up to that game because Gruden wanted them to recover. You can't properly prepare for a team with walk-throughs.

I'm not saying we're a good team, because we're not. But are we so bad that even if we're reasonably healthy and have a full week to prepare we'll lose by 30-plus to the Giants? No.

I really hate the fact that we play the Seahawks on Monday night. Playing them competitively could really help our morale, but knowing us, we're more likely to get blown out. I don't see why the f*ck the NFL is making a 3-13 team play the defending champs on Monday Night Football. Makes no f*cking sense to me.

On a separate note, anyone else notice how this season (so far, at least) validates those who say that Rob Ryan is a crappy defensive coordinator? The Saints' D is dreadful with him, and the Cowboys -- after losing everyone who was marginally decent -- is actually better without him.

Now that we have a lot to brag about in that department..... I still cannot believe how we made seemingly no adjustments during the Giants game. It just got worse and worse all day, and I think even the Giants players stated afterwards that they were shocked that nothing changed in the defensive fronts we were showing.

Pretty sure they were hoping to hype the rematch of the playoff game, with all the drama they could muster around Griffin's going out. Kinda through a kink in that plan though.

And folks thought that with RGIII being healthy, the Redskins might return to 2012 form, while the Seahawks lost a number of folks in FA, thus making for a competitive game. Could have been a good storyline, actually.

But instead, it will be -- which Redskins team will show up? The team that will play hard and lose a close one, or the one that will play hard but unravel and get the crap kicked out of them on national tv (again).

I hate to say it, but I just don't see how we win this game. Unless a bunch of folks get healthy fast, the Seahawks have a collective brain fart, and we get some good bounces our way, I just don't think we're good enough to win. (Man, it pains me to write that.) It's crappy that we have that game, and then the short week before WE travel West to play AZ. I cannot believe we're staring down 1-5. But that's what happens when you lose games that you can or should win; good teams beat lesser teams consistently, and equal or better teams at least occasionally.

I have to admit -- I love this: Steve Smith tells Panthers to mow his lawn in Carolina - NFL.com

He really stuck it to Carolina. Must have been enormously satisfying. I don't mind the jawing when you back it up.

I'd love to see Smith and Richard Sherman square off. Would be hilarious.

I dont know about that,Cowboys were the worst team in defense last yr after he left and New Orleans was much improved after he came there.
I would probably trade Haslett for Ryan,I wonder if Ryan makes any adjustments during the game?:smashfreak:

The 2015 NFL draft will be held from April 30-May 2.

The 2014 draft didn't begin until May 8, drawing complaints from fans, media and teams. So the 2015 version is up a week, and will be held in either Los Angeles or Chicago instead of its usual Radio City Music Hall location. All the prospects can be tracked in our NFL Draft section.

thank you Goodell for doing at least 1 thing right in your tenure

Cant wait for Goodell to come out and announce the first pick. He should get a nice ovation.
