Lately it seems like people have been very bitchy here on the board. Let's keep in mind that we all have different opinions at times and nobody is any more right than anyone else.

I've said it before and I think it needs to be said again, loud and clear... personal attacks won't be tolerated on the forum. If you can't have a mature discussion about football you should really consider checking out some of the other Redskins forums on the net. There's plenty of them around, just ask and I'd be glad to point some out.

Last but not least, please [u]respect[/u] the moderators here. If one asks you to stop arguing or advises you to calm down, please take notice. We're trying to make this forum an enjoyable experience for everyone here, if you want to have a bitch session with another member exchange email addresses, phone numbers, whatever, and take it there. Don't even waste our server space by using the PM system.

I'm really getting tired of having to make posts like these and honestly my patience is running thin.

If you don't like it then get out. Matty all your hard work is greatly appreciated. The time and effort it must take to run a high quality site like this I am sure is great. If you have to boot a couple of people oh well it will make the quality of the site just that much greater. There are obnoxious fans of every team, lets try to be bigger than that and let those cowgirl fans do it on their site.

Hey. Just read some of that post by formerskinsfan. Sorry to see people blasting each other. I agree with you jdlea that there isn't any reason to hate somebody because they don't like our team. I've got good friends who like the Cowboys, Eagles, etc. Mattyk, I'm also with you. We don't need all the animosity around here. We may not agree on every issue, but we are rooting for the same team. Everybody just needs to chill a little.

BTW, Mattyk, you're doing a heck of a fine job with this sight. Thanks, dude.

When it doubt, please ignore someone who's being a jerk and move on.

Responding only makes things worse and drags things out.

Like I said, exchange email addresses and take it there. I'm not going to accept this excuse of, "He started it, I'm just defending myself".

I've been a member here for sometime now & I agree with Matty 100%. Personal attacks are completely unacceptable. If your going to respond to someone with a personal attack you might want to check out another Redskins forum site. NO JOKE!

One of the great things about this site that I have enjoyed has been the friendships I've made with several fellow Warpathers.

Sure we will disagree with someone posts from time to time, that's why we're all here...

Lets try & keep the personal comments out, so no one gets offended.

I understand where everybody's coming from, but I'm not going to apologize for anything I said last night. I don't feel like anything I said was particularly bad. I was kinda bent out of shape, so I took some shots, but I held back a lot last night. If that's a problem, I said before, I'll leave the board.

Being a forum owner and thus mod of my own place I agree 1000% with Mr. K.

Our forum has to be even more careful because we have members from all over the world and what may be funny to we Americans may come across very different to a person from another nation.

I don't post a lot here but I lurk and read everyday.

I don't think anybody is asking for an apology. I think what we're all really asking is for everyone to grow to a level of maturity to where we can ignore personal attacks that DO happen and be the bigger person.

That I will work on and I would have taken it a lot better if I thought it was a joke or I knew the member that was saying it. I didn't know who he was, couldn't judge his tone, so I got pissed. I shouldn't have done it, but it happened. I already had a bad day and that was probably the last thing I expected to happen for defending someone who was being attacked personally. It got me upset, it shouldn't have, but it did.
