Re: Star Wars Episode III
Was it any good?

Re: Star Wars Episode III
It was good, i would highly recommend to any Star Wars fan, some chessy dialog but I expected that, i guess that what i disliked the most. The best of the three for sure, but no Empire though. Special effect's WOW, deff don't downlaod a screener, a must see in the theater.

Re: Star Wars Episode III
Most definitely. I agree with your review. Some cheesy dialogue but Lucas DEFINITELY redeemed himself (I still maintain my contacts at a theater I used to work at, so I got to watch a private screening of just me and some friends last night).

torrents hit the net before it opened, workprint not cam, wee ;)

Re: Star Wars Episode III
My friend actually walked out of it last night. He hated it. I've never been a Star Wars fan so I probably won't go. Some people are really into it though.

Re: Star Wars Episode III
Yeah, I'll say this from the point of someone who can't stand Star Wars. This one was pretty damn good.

Re: Star Wars Episode III
I saw it at 12:00 last night. I LOVED it!!! :biggthump It was by far the best of the new episodes. I would even say it's almost as good as the Frist three.
If your a Star Wars fan you must see this one in the Theater. I thought after Attack of the Clones Lucas really had to redeem himself. And he sure did with this one. I loved how most of the things I used to nite pick at where rapped up at the end. A+++ :headbange |
Re: Star Wars Episode III
lucas is still a terrible dialogue writer though... makes you think the first three were amazing only because of spielberg's involvement... at least lucas arts has always made good games ;)

Spielburg has had nothing to do with Star Wars. You must be thinking of the Idinana Jones series. Wich they both worked on. I agree Lucas can't write great dialog for his scripts. But he sure can write & tell a great story. |
Re: Star Wars Episode III
the best part was JAR JAR had no speaking lines:) . the movie was really good, by far, the best of the "new" three.

Re: Star Wars Episode III
Good movie, but some of the dialogue made me laugh out loud.
Nooooooooooo! -Darth Vader LOL |
Re: Star Wars Episode III
yeah the dialogue was pretty weak at spots but the movie definitely had its strengths as well. That opening scene is the best in the series in my opinion especially the stuff with R2-D2. General Grievious was pretty wicked and Yoda was a freakin champ in a bunch of scenes. I really liked it cuz I felt sorry for Anakin at the same times that I hated who he became. I was kinda pissed not to see Chewie actually do anything and I wanted to see samuel l fighting like mace did in the clone wars stuff on cartoon network.

Re: Star Wars Episode III
Let's face it, the dialogue of all 6 movies is weak, but it's not the dialogue people go to see.

Re: Star Wars Episode III
I just don't like the cornballness.
