Redskins Free Agents List

2017 NFL Free Agents Tracker | Spotrac

Cousins, Garçon, D Jax, Chris Baker, Vernon Davis, Junior Gallette, Duke Ihenache, K Golston, John Sullivan, Greg Toler, Terrence Garvin and can't forget our long snapper Nick Sundberg.

Who you bringing back?

I'm going with

Cousins 23.0 per year 5 year deal
Chris Baker 8.5-9.5 3 year deal
Garçon 7.0-8.0 3 year deal
Nick Sundberg 1 3 year deal
Vernon Davis 2.5 1 year deal
Junior Gallette 1.5 prove it 1 year
Duke Nachos 1.5 1 year

I'd probably look into bringing Center J Sullivan into camp for depth.

I think you are underestimating the cost to keep these guys. I would rather draft D-lineman than pay Baker close to $10 million. And he probably wants 5 years. Garcon is a tough player, and tough call.

Davis and Duke, no thanks. Draft a TE.

Naw. Baker was really good for us and seems like a McC type of guy...I could see 4 years. I don't think you'll see a 5 year deal.

I think duke is a decent special teams player and good depth at ss. Davis was better than expected this year and filled in nicely. Niles Paul and carrier are under contract too, will be interesting to see what we do.

So your saying resign cousins and let everybody else walk? Interesting

Cousins, Garcon, Baker are the no brainers. DJax and Davis only at the right price. After that, Galette on another cheap deal, Sundberg, and Sullivan. The rest are little better than camp bodies

I'm not totally against bringing back desean jax, but I don't think he wants to be here. And if anybody is looking for a big deal, I think it's him. Id let him test the market

I'd try to bring them all back besides D-Jax (too expensive), Golston (too old), and Toler (too old). I'm not going to try to guess the contract amounts. I'd say Baker/Garcon are the only "must" re-signs. Davis is pretty close to making that list too, depending on how much money he'll want. He seems like he would want to stay here.

Edit - Geez, forgot to include Garcon with Baker, and Garcon is my favorite player. I want them both back for sure.

Davis earned another year and McC seems to really like the dude. He was our only TE that stayed healthy...I think that's big.

I wouldn't be surprised if we moved on from Paul

I say move on from Gallette, he wants to get paid and hasn't been on the field in 2-3 years. Find a new young pass rusher and if he agrees to a minimum then sign him.

Cousins, Baker and Garcon are the most important.

I'm sure they would like to keep him, but reality is he's a backup tackle on the wrong side of 30.

There is no way you pay Baker 8-10 million per year. He just isn't that type of player. To me he's around a 4-5 million dollar player and not a dime more.

I'm also in agreement with drafting a TE, although I'd try and bring Davis back for depth. But we need another young stud traditional TE that can freakin' block and knock some people off the ball. Reed is just too soft in the run game.

Garcon at the right price is a person that I'd bring back. But not at 7 or 8 million per season.

This market value thing is pretty cool. It's about right for what they have on Cousins.

The way they break is down is really cool, they just don't throw out a bunch of bullshit.
