I wouldn't give a grade at all. Haven't seen us against a legit offense, not to mention the fact our offense has been to blame for a good bit of the time that our defense has been out there for

Yeah.... that's true....NFL teams are going to gain yards and score points....but they've given up a ton of yards against Philly and L.A.

But Zach Brown is a beast. How he didn't get signed before we got to him is amazing to me.

I see a lot of improvement already from last year....got better talent too. So far I'd say he's been decent.

There have definitely been improvements, as the defense has helped in the win against the Rams and gave the team a chance against the Iggles (squandered by the offense and shitty calls).

If the Defense can continue with this level of improvement and the offense can get back to its norm from last year, we can definitely be a playoff team.

Plus the defense has played against the #1 and #2 picks in the 2016 draft in back to back weeks... something is still missing it seems....but they are faster and better than a year ago.

B +. Would be A- if those 2 big plays didn't happen even tho Eagles one was a fluke. We get a true NT next year we're on to something. Breeland is making me want to pay him. Don't think we can tho.

Hard to grade the Defense.

But I would give Manusky an A- because of 2 things:

-way better playcalling
-guys playing tremendously better under his watch than the previous years (Breeland, Preston Smith, Ioannidis, Fuller, even Foster who I already loved last year is looking more pumped up to play ...). That is huge to me.

Only thing I'm not happy with are a few too many missed tackles, gotta work on that.

Blown assignments by players that didn't play together last year, with a new coordinator and a new signal caller, that's gonna happen. Hope it disappears as the season goes on.

I haven't seen enough of the defense to make a proper grade. To me, this is something reserved for the end of the season. What I do see, so far, is exactly what Manusky promised, which is a more aggressive defense. I do see improvements already, which is a good sign. Now, if the corners can start picking off some of those near INTs, that would be swell.

I like the fire he brings to the team, they have shown that they will fight and tackle! I think we will finish around 18th or so in defense. I'd give him a B- so far.

Better than last year, yes, still room for improvement, also yes. Also too small of a sample size, no point in giving a grade after 2 weeks.

Well shit after tonight I would have to give him an A+!

B+ but the season is way too young to truly grade the D. Still have an unfinished product on D line but they built a wall tonight.

It does appear that Manusky could put the pads and cleats back on and bust some heads however!
