The Budget Deal
I am curious what everyone's take is on it.
Positive to get a 2 year budget in place? Business as usual in DC? Mortgaging the future of the country? Who gets the credit/blame for making this come together in your opinion? Who will benefit/be hurt at the midterm elections? |

Re: The Budget Deal
here is a link to the text of it (652 pages) good luck to anyone who intends to read it:
https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/08/politics/bipartisan-budget-deal-text/index.html There were articles on CNN and Fox that gave the details from their two perspectives, but both seem to have pulled them or buried them off the main page. Bottom line is that it's 300Million in fresh spending that addresses the military and several Democratic domestic priorities. |

This, I'll probably wait for the cliff notes version as I have better things to do than read 652 pages of a budget bill on a Friday night. Is the gov't officially shut down again? |
