Former Philadelphia Eagles captain Chris Maragos has been awarded $43.5 million in a lawsuit against his doctors over a career-ending knee injury.

The jury at the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas found that orthopedic surgeon James Bradley and Rothman Orthopaedics were negligent in the medical malpractice case, causing harm to two-time Super Bowl-winning safety and forcing him to end his NFL career prematurely.

Bradley was found to be 67% negligent ($29.2 million) and Rothman Orthopaedics 33% ($14.3 million), according to court documents.

Doctors best interest is team who pays him, not the patient player.

In the process of moving, got done right at 8, to watch the Defenders game. Turns out, I really am an idiot, they play tomorrow at 8. Good stuff.

Defenders 1-0 baby!! Managed to actually stay awake* and watch the whole game. It was OK. But it's hard to be too fun with mediocre at best QB play.

Update: #Giants QB Daniel Jones wants more than New York has offered him. Possibly as much as $45 million per year, or more. A source tells Mike Florio.

Jones has recently switched agents, from CAA to Athletes First.

Yeah it's being reported but seems to be very little truth in it. Jones dumped his old agent so rumors are running rampant, it was 35 last week , this week 45.

Peyton knows him...............

"Although Kilgore has never previously coached at the professional level, he did spend six seasons as a quarterback in the Canadian Football League. He also spent training camp in 2014 as a player with Payton and the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee."

Jones hasn't even started negotiations yet , nothing has been submitted. For now the 45 mill is BS
