My thinking is, any terrible thing that happened was one step closer to Snyder selling the team. I don't even care about the crap that happened before, because anything "good" that would have happened would not have led to the state we are now.

That's water under the bridge. Outside of a RG3 type of deal, there was no way Bruce and Dan were trading Kirk to SF.

Warpath 2017 - Mitch Trubisky is ready to go right now. Mahomes is a project and can't play in a pro style system.

We saved ourself the misery of not drafting Mahomes.
