Seabird pre game thread
Can anyone say code red?
We currently sit at number 8. Seattle at number 5. Both , unbelievably, in contention for a wildcard birth. I have renewed faith solely because of Sam, and our new line configuration. I still think Ron and JDR are holding us back. That being said, a win against them would be huge down the stretch. I suddenly see five winnable games left on our schedule. This is one of them. |
Re: Seabird pre game thread
This is still probably not a good enough team to make the playoffs. Too many holes and against better offenses we are going to struggle. Have to remember New England's offense is bottom 3 in the league.
Seattle coming off a bad loss and will be at home. I don't like our chances here. |
Re: Seabird pre game thread
Oddly, we seem to play Seattle tough (including at home), but I think they're going to be pretty motivated after getting humiliated last weekend (whereas we had a squeaker against a 2-7 team). But who the heck knows? If the team that went toe-to-toe with the Eagles twice shows up, sure we can win. But we haven't seen that team consistently enough for me to feel like it's likely. Going to be rainy and breezy -- we need our run game to win and not force SH to throw 50 times.

Re: Seabird pre game thread
This is the perfect game to win. It gives us hope before we lose to Danny DeVito and the Giants.

Re: Seabird pre game thread
I hope we win, but I'm guessing it'll be something like 27-23 Seattle.
Which is fine... Can't get my hopes up after barely beating Mac Jones & a bad NE team. |
Re: Seabird pre game thread
After losses to very beatable teams this year, I'm not predicting wins in winnable games anymore. Is this a winnable game? Yes. But the Seahawks are a good team and they're at home and coming off a bad loss. I expect a close one.

Re: Seabird pre game thread
What also concerns me is what if the conditions don't favor throwing the ball? EB might stroke out if he has to go to a run first gameplan.
|
Re: Seabird pre game thread
I don't know what to think with this team anymore. They will be better prepared, home and with crappy weather. I agree that EB may fold like a lawn chair when conditions don't permit throwing 50 times lol

Re: Seabird pre game thread
Looks like it’ll be a wet game , Sam better throw some wet football this week.
It’s hard to gauge the hawks. Geno and their offense is solid but they’ve had some bad outings this year. Defense is also pretty inconsistent. I think it’s a close one and we find a way to win. 26-24 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think we win in overtime …

Re: Seabird pre game thread
I’m going to try something here - seahawks win 43-16. I’m taking the George Costanza approach from now on. Prove me wrong by doing the opposite, Commies!

Re: Seabird pre game thread
The Seahawks are a SB caliber team, except for one question mark: Geno Smith
They are solid all around, a great young OL and probably the best young CB’s in the league. This should be a really good test for Howell going against that secondary. |

If we lose the next game to the Giants, I will simply not watch us play any more against them until we win at least 2 in a row. I can't take losing to those jackwagons anymore. |
Re: Seabird pre game thread
WaPo has an article didn't realize this because we have been awful for so long but the C-men are 4-0 at Seattle's Lumen field and 7-1 against them during regular season road games.
