NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
Check out this article. this is about the top ten players on offense in the game, according to their analysts. in running backs, they have clinton portis ranked second, only to l.t. they also have a couple redskins offensive linemen in there, chris samuels and randy thomas are both there. I hope they have the defensive rankings up soon.

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
Randy Thomas is a top ten guard. Clinton is rated high as shit. Chris Samuels is rated 10th. And lav Coles is 10th. hahaha

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
I'm surpised that Portis actually got that much credit to be ranked #2; but its deserved in my opinion. I really think this is the season that he will prove that he is a top 3 back in the league. One person that is not on this list, which I think is bullcrap is WIllis McGhee. I think alot of that guy, and I thought he did a good job carrying Buffalo towards the end of last season, and I think is posied for a big year this year as well. Can't really argue with LT being number one, since he is such a threat all over the feild.

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
that is very true. mcgahee did have a good season last year, but i think they want to see if last season was just a fluke before saying he's all that. if he has another breakout season, i wouldn't be suprised to see him in the top ten next year. haha, it says coles was used improperly in our offense, that's very true, we shouldn't have given him all those catches. i would've passed more to cooley than i would've to him.

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
McGahee hasn't played a full season as a starter. Until that happens, I couldn't mark him down as one of the elite backs.

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
That's true, but look at his stats from starting in only 11 games. It is no telling how many yards he would have had if was in all 16 games. I think that it take one more year but he is definitely on his way to being an elite back. I think that they are the edge wrong he should be in the top 3 easily even though he playing with the best qb in the game along three of the best wrs. The guy still has it and he is also the reason that Peyton did break the record last year because he makes the defense play honest.

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
i think that portis should be slightly lower and randy thomas higher, also i hate that janson isn't top ten, but by the end of the year we will have 3 linemen in the top 5 of their positions

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
Well, Jansen was hurt last year. It's hard to put a player on a top 10 list that didn't produce at all the previous year. Not that it's Jansen's fault but it's understandable from Prisco's standpoint.

Re: NFL.com's offensive positional rankings
alright guys defensive rankings are up. just click on the link in the first post and click on defense. i agree with some of their rankings, marcus washington is rated as #4 on the outside linebackers list, and lavar is ranked #7. i think that's cuz of his injury last season. those are the only players we have in their. i don't agree with some of their rankings though, i think safety is really messed up. sean taylor isn't even on the list. i was a little mad when i saw the inside linebackers list and antonio pierce is ranked #5, ahead of brian urlacher.
