Looking for complete game tapes from 1991 and 1992
For all old-school Redskins fans, I am looking for a full game recordings of two particular victories from the earlu '90s. The first was a Redskins victory over Dallas in December 1992, and the second was from the 1991 NFC championship win over Detroit. If anyone has one or both games available in dvd format, I would be interested in purchasing copies.

Surprisingly, it's challenging to find full videos of old games. I would have assumed NFL thought of a way to monetize this niche, but apparently not.

So true. I managed to put together a nearly complete Playlist of Washington’s incredible 1991-92 season...but the only game missing was that championship against Detroit.
As for that Dallas game, I was 10 at the time, and my family was driving cross country to New Mexico to visit my grandmother. We tuned in on the radio, and lost signal when Washington was down 17-7. Imagine our shock when we checked into a hotel in Dallas the next day, and saw the headline for Washington’s upset. I have always wanted to see that game, given the fact that Dallas dominated much of the game, but the Redskins never gave up. Maybe someday I will get my hands on a full game tape. |

So true, especially after a few decades. I imagine the NFL sees their archive of full game tapes as its supply of gold bars. Once stuff gets released into the digisphere, they no longer have control. Then you have the issue of NFL Films vs network broadcasts containing descriptions and commentaries. It’s an IP jungle out there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
