Chargers postgame thread

10 -0 and they are down to our 20 yard line and then…..the fumble. 27-0 us from there on out. Amazing. It is crazy how our whole team, even the D, seems to feed off Jayden’s energy.

Game balls…
Bill
Jayden
Dorance Armstrong
Newton
Miller
McCaffrey

Kliff called a good game too, I think. As did Whitt -- dialed up pressure and it definitely disrupted the Charger's offense. We had some luck based on a few really dumb plays by LA (running into the kicker in the endzone is unforgivable), but overall, the D was pretty -- at least, after an abysmal 1st quarter.

Keep running the ball

Dominant trench game both sides. Chris Paul man and Tunsil sealing that left side on TD runs.

Quote of the day Jay Gruden on Twitter “Guess Jayden is OK”

Defense making big plays.

Awesome game. JD5 was back. The roughing the punter and converting the 3rd and 16 changed the entire game. Starting to really like the combo of Bill/McNichols. Bill was a fantastic AP pick. Deebo is bigtime. Just what the doctor ordered. Beat Chicago next!

Started off looking like it was going to be a long day. Amazing how that one turn over sparked the entire team.

JD simply has the magic we need, which is a sign of a true franchise QB! We were lucky no other teams paid attention to Bill in the draft.

Our defense still needs some work, we got some breaks but it won't happen when we play against great teams.

I think we found a Running Back

Cowboys having a tie is going to be annoying as fuck to see in the standings the rest of the season. Just uglies up the whole thing. They couldn't just lose like the asshats they are.

If the Rams could make a FG/block for a FG, we could be tied for 1st place right now.

JD5 is the difference, his energy is unmatched and the team feeds off of him.. Some of the throws he makes are ridiculous. That kid is SPECIAL

Love how he's always having fun and smiling through pretty much the entire game. Feel it has a positive, calming effect on the team especially offense. Highly unique, amazing qb.

John Bates back was Bigly for the running games

Kingsbury is doing great things for the run game using all the OL and Bates and Sinnott. Add Bill's decisiveness, and the rotation to keep everyone fresh and you have a run game that is fun to watch. There are some great film breakdowns out there that highlight this.

Great vision, hits 100 mph quickly, can run well inside and particularly outside, underrated power, and tough. Already love this kid and my fav back in a long time on this team. Maybe since Portis honestly.

I'm impressed with his balance. On a few of these runs, he looked like he was about to go down, but managed to re-gain his footing and get a bunch more yardage. All 3 of our backs are guys that have some runs where you think it is a yard or two, and then they burst out of the scrum for more. Love it.
