Injuries, injuries, injuries

Along with Jayden sounds like Lattimore tore his ACL and McCaffery broke his collarbone.

WTF is going on

Yeah, this is wild. Last year, the only big injury we had was Jonathan Allen's torn bicep. This year, it's the opposite.

All that luck we had last year, is showing us how lucky we really were. The reverse bad luck is happening this year.

I can’t remember a season this bad with injuries

Got to be honest, and I don't agree with making the game into flag football, but the whistle on that kick return was way too late. 3 guys landed on McCaffrey with full weight and I initially thought he'd dislocated his shoulder. Broken collarbone, just as bad.

Made me laugh though when someone online said they should sack the training staff. You can't train to avoid impact injuries.

2017 was pretty bad, that game in Seattle offensive lineman were introducing themselves in the huddle

And 2018 is when Alex Smith got hurt along with Colt and we were down to Josh Johnson

Truly snake bitten this year. Unbelievable

Is it just me or does it feel like we would be, at best, 4-5 even with everyone healthy? 3-6 maybe?

It is way more than injuries. They don’t help, but either way this is not where I envisioned them this year. Sucks even more than usual because of expectations.

It's more than injuries. Kliff's offense was perfect to catch lightning in a bottle with Jayden's rare skill set in year 1. But this college offense is not sustainable in the NFL. Everyone is too big and too fast.

The defense flat out sucks. Amos, Armstrong, and Kinlaw are the only guys that should be starters in 2026. I'd trade Payne like we Allen, and let him get his extension somewhere else. The other 7 guys on defense just flat out fucking suck.

I would consider selling my soul for some miracle run that leads us to the promised land. Can you imagine after all this?

Re: Injuries, injuries, injuries

Didn't the Lions have their entire defense out last year? They were plucking guys off the street. They made the playoffs and still won their division.

The 49ers haven't had their starting QB the entire year. They have injuries. They lost Warner. They're still 6-3.

Everyone has injuries so to me it's not an excuse. If you have them, do you have the ability to stay afloat, overcome them and still win games? Or do you fall off a cliff? We've done the latter. Not only that but we've become a team that's not competitive.

We walk into 99% of games being out-classed at HC, OC, DC before the game even starts. We have the trifecta of shit: Poor Coaching, Poor Roster, Tons of Injuries.

We are fucked. That's why its mock draft season already.

Re: Injuries, injuries, injuries

Sucks that Lattimore got hurt, you never want to see that, but that really doesn't do much as far as impact. He's having a bad year. You can put someone else in there and they can't do any worse.

Losing our two DE's has really crippled this defense.
