If there is a problem at all...its not with Moss. If Moss doesn't catch 10-12 TD passes it won't be because he is not open or can't get deep behind a cornerback....it will be our QB. However, relax. Ramsey is about to have a career year and make the pro bowl, and along with him Moss will have a sensational season. The funny thing is thought that we have a domino offense. If Ramsey and Moss have a great season then Portis will also have a great season. If Ramsey screws up then the dominoes fall. Patrick needs to explode this season and if he does...the whole offense will turn into a juggernaught. |

Carter played cause of Pennington's injury. And Moss totaly burnt a DB and I dont think that Pennington could have got him the ball, but Carter hit him it was a huge play. I also have to believe that Ramsey is much better QB than Carter is, so hopfully there is no problem this season with our O... |

You think Carter is more accurate then Pennington?? |
Re: Moss is best out of 2001 receivers in draft
There is no way that Moss is better then Chad Johnson. I like Moss alot and think he will do good things for us but Chad Johnson is a 1,000 yard +, pro bowl WR and Santana isn't at his level right now. Also, it could be argued that Steve Smith or Reggie Wayne are better then Moss.

I think Carucci is referring to just the first round WR's from 2001. There's no doubt Chad Johnson is the more proven WR. |

he meant pennington cant throw the deep ball, carter can. pennington has a accruate arm yet it is pretty weak in the nfl being compared to nfl qbs. he was saying that pennington couldnt get the most out of moss because by the time moss has his db beat, pennington couldnt throw it that far. quincy has a very strong arm and made some plays pennington couldnt based on depth of the pass. |

Well, the question posted to Carruci starts with "With the notable exception of Reggie Wayne..." So I think when he answered it he didn't even consider Wayne. |

Ooops, I didn't read the link....I just saw that Moss was supposedly the best wideout from the 1st round of the 2001 draft. Thanks. |

No, I think that Carter has a stronger arm than Penninton... You rarly seen Pennington make long throws last season, I would say that Pennington is a west cost O QB... |
Re: Moss is best out of 2001 receivers in draft
Pennington is capable of throwing the deep ball (even if his arm isn't that strong). His lack of deep throws was largely a product of the system (which has since been replaced). Does anyone remember that bomb Pennington threw to Moss in the playoffs against Pitt (I think it was Pitt)?
