Madden Player Ratings 2006
I got this from another fan site, the writer said he goes to the EA HQ and says he copied down the overall ratings, here is the link http://extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=105947

Re: Madden Player Ratings 2006
THRASH A 73, I THINK THAT I SHOULD SLAP MADDEN IN ALL OF HIS JIGGLY FACE. COOOOOOOOLEY 79 and SPRINGS AN 87 and GRIFFIN A 88.
There is a beating to be had Only person who got more credit than deserved........ BRUNNEL. a bitter slap in the face. I like Marcus's rating though and TAYLOR and Arrington's, he fell but thats ok, O-line is kickin but DOCKERY! is skrewd. |
Re: Madden Player Ratings 2006
These guys are clueless about Salave'a. He's incredibly underrated on that game with a 71. He should at least be even with Noble, and should probably be around 80. The guy's much more athletic than they give him credit for.
I've always wondered how they come up with these ratings. Do they actually watch film and dissect each player's performance and skills or what? It seems to me it's mostly name power. I always wind up having to tweak the ratings when I buy the game, and not just for the Redskins. |
Re: Madden Player Ratings 2006
Brunell is an 80 on name alone. The first move I do when I get the game will be to ship his ass out.
I generally agree with these ratings. If you go by these ratings the Skins seem to have a pretty solid team this year. I've heard that they do some pretty extensive research on each player, but in the end it all comes down to somebody's subjective opinion. |
Re: Madden Player Ratings 2006
Is Prioleau really our 2nd best safety? I had no idea he was that good
|
Re: Madden Player Ratings 2006
Wow I just noticed Campbell with a 78, pretty good for a rook.
Raymer looks a tad overrated, I would knock him down to the 70-75 range. He's really not starting quality anymore. |
Re: Madden Player Ratings 2006
Here is how I'd rate the Redskins:
Ramsey 83 Brunell 74 Campbell 75 Portis 94 Betts 78 Cartwright 76 Sellers 74 Moss 86 Gardner 83 Patten 85 Jacobs 76 McCants 74 Thrash 78 Cooley 85 Royal 74 baber 62 Samuels 94 Molinaro 63 R. Brown 83 Doclery 79 Rabach 85 Raymer 74 R. Thomas 92 Albright 50 Jansen 95 M. Wilson 64 R. Wynn 78 Boschetti 60 Daniels 80 D. Evans 73 Griffin 92 Noble 75 Salave'a 81 M. Washington 93 Clemons 74 K. Campbell 62 Barrow 85 L. Marshall 82 R. McCune 70 Arrington 94 Holdman 86 B. Allen 71 Springs 94 Harris 83 Rogers 80 Wilds 72 Jimoh 64 S. Taylor 91 Prioleau 82 Lott 73 Bowen 81 Clark 83 Hall 84 Tupa 90 |

He's supposedly decent. I'd probably put him around 82 on a Madden scale. I personally think that Clark is better (as he's more versatile) than Bowen or Pierson and is our 2nd best safety. |
Re: Madden Player Ratings 2006
I think after last season these ratings aren't that bad. When does Madden 2006 come out anyway?

jansen is better in run blocking and doesns't make nearly as many mistakes... samuels is hyper athletic though... hope for no O-line injuries in madden this year ;) our backups are screwed... we got good depth ratings for dbs/lbs though. and TEs never seem to have high ratings unless they're really fast (for a TE)... outside of gonzo, gates, heap etc (1000yard threats) you're not going to get much above 80s |
