I just wanted to take a moment to say I'm now heading into my second training camp as a full-fledged member of this site...so I'm no longer a rookie!

But anyway, being part of this community gives a whole new perspective on the Redskins' season from summer through fall and into winter. Even with the frustrating season we had last year it was so cool to know this site was here to just have all these great fans to share with the ups and downs. It really adds so much to being a fan of the team.

So for those of you entering your first season with us (TheMalcolmConnection, BigSkinBauer, CanTheTuna, among others) it's good to have you with us and get ready because no matter what happens this season I promise you that you will have so much fun here on the warpath. If you think you're addicted to it now, just wait until game day!

Ok, that's all. Just wanted to take a minute to welcome the rookies and HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

And on a serious note, thanks to everyone who puts this together, I'm made some real good friends on here and I plan on posting indefinitely. And thanks to the magic of high speed internet, I have access at home and at work which allows me to keep my posting average right around 15-16 a day. ;)

Well I lurked on the site without posting for a little while...I was on the Warpath Practice Squad!

I remember my first post was the week of the Redskins vs Bears game in 2003. I think it was toward the end of the season. And in my first post all I said was something like "I predict Smoot will return an INT for a TD against the Bears"...and HE DID!! But he was ruled down by contact after the instant replay

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and thanks to TAFKAS for mentioning me. I've been having a blast reading and gaining insight and playing a little devil's advocate on this site almost nightly and it really has been like a life ring for the off season so far. I can't wait to share in the (hopeful) glory of the upcoming season with my new bretheren. I'm really looking foreward to getting together with some of you guys and watch some games.


BTW BrudLee... The symbol is awesome... :rofl:

I know you guys arent much for avatars, but I think the symbol might merit some deep consideration for old TAFKAS.

Well with all the camaraderie flowing here it seems the right time to quit "lurking" as TAFKAS put it & finally join the fun. This is a great site, thanks to those responsible for it. I loved seeing the Cooley interview (I just bought my Cooley jersey maybe a week before his replies & think he will be a pillar for the team). I look forward to some great discussion & what I feel could be a great season. Go 'Skins!!

Yeah I'd seriously consider using that as TAFKAS' avatar. It's tasteful looking, and would fit in well on the site. Plus he's a cool guy that TAFKAS, what with the efforts in moderating and all, he deserves it. And thanks to all of the mods for their hard work, and Joe Crisp for the great inside info. I found this site a few months ago and doubt I'll ever abandon it. I think I found a lifetime winner.

Definitely the most educated Redskins fans I've ever come across. I love the discussions.
