I'm back !!
Hey, gang.
Just wanted to give you a quick hello and a congrats for your win. w/o going into a deep analsys, here are the three things about the game that I have to say...... 1) Redskins defense looked impressive and should carry over into the reg season. 2) Your offense and play calling was right on! Everthing seemed to click 3) As for Pitt, they even admitted, their passing game is out of sync. Good luck this season and fucking sweep your series with the Eagles and Cowboys!! |
Re: I'm back !!
thanks, hopefully your offense can get it turned around... we know what its like to watch that happen :(

Re: I'm back !!
thanks scrapdog. Hopefully your passing game gets better because i picked up Hines Ward on one of my fantasy teams! ;)

Re: I'm back !!
Scrapdog, I'm sure things will get turned around. You just have to get Big Ben from behind center. ;) (I've never been a huge fan of him and his success was a direct result of the running game he had. I honestly think Tommy is a better QB)
I was just pumped for us to get a win. Good thing you represent the good in Steelers fans, I was very disillusioned on Friday night at the game. |
Re: I'm back !!
honestly i have been a big ben hater, i just am i don't know why but i hate him. I like jerome and ward but i hate big ben, i don't think he is that good, I don't HATE him i just think he is way way way overrated. The steelers will be fin as long as they run it a lot.

Re: I'm back !!
Not everyone hates Big Ben Pat Kirwan says don't worry that Roeth and Maddox will be just fine because they have not thrown an interception this year. Before that paragraph he rags on Ramsey for his. If he would do just a little investigating he would see Maddox has 1 and Roeth has 2 with neither having a touchdown pass. These guys are idots with pens how can you write an opinion and not look up the stats and they are posted on his site. I do think that Roeth will be fine but he may have some growing pains this year. The article is at NFL.com I could not get it to link.

Re: I'm back !!
Good luck to Pittsburgh this year!!! Please beat the stink out of the Ravens so I don't have to listen to my retarded friends in Bmore.

Re: I'm back !!
I like Rothlesburger. I don't think he's a superstar talent, but he did show that he could manage a game and win. I think the pressure really got to him at the end of last year. You go that many games without losing, and all of a sudden its the playoffs and you can't lose. That's when he started making bad decisions. I hope he does okay.
Scrapdog, goodluck to your Steelers. They're my 2nd fav. team. Its a pretty big gap between the skins and you guys, but I like your style of football, and I don't feel guilty about liking a team thats in the AFC. |
Re: I'm back !!
Big Ben is going to be fine in this league... he's got the tools- the playoff experience as a rookie will only expedite his growth.

Yeah I wouldn't be too worried about Ben, I think people have to look at this kid and see how much composure he had last year. He went to the AFC championship as a rookie....not too shabby. He has everything in place to succeed, he doesn't have to make excuses for the ground game for a rookie he was a superstar last year, no questions asked, period |
