Redskins vs Cowboys MNF
 

Well, on a lighter note....

Does anyone know for sure what is going to happen regarding the Monday Night Football game between the Redskins/Cowboys next week as far as TV coverage?? I heard rumors about Direct TV having the game, but I looked on tvguide.com and it wasent there. Has anyone heard more about the game? :dallas:

dude, it's simple. at 7:30 they are gonna have a special edition of giants - saints. come 9 p.m., that game is gonna be transfered to espn, and the redskins cowboys game will be nationally televised, except for the gulf coast and new york.

WTF So I'm gonna get screwed outta watching the game living in NY. I guess I gotta go to a bar on monday...oh well.

So in areas outside of New York and the Gulf, the Redskins game will be televised in its entirety?

Well its not that simple. See where I'm from....NY. So I want to know when I will see the game.

I live in San Antonio and was screwed out of watching the Bears-Skins game.

Hopefully I'll be able to see MNF next week....

I'm in San Antonio too.....looks like we will get stuck watching the Saints.....sigh, but I guess we will be doing our part to help out the Katrina evacuees and watch the Saints. Hope the league doesn't impose the black out rules for us..............

I was so mad when it turned out we were watching the Saints instead of the Skins....but do you think the Saints will get moved to ESPN? Or, I guess worst case scenario would be to watch the dallas network......that IS worst case scenario though.

I'm a little confused.

I looked up my local TV listings, and it lists the Skins game on at 9 with the Giants moving to ESPN, but when you see the commercials for the game you'll see a disclaimer at the bottom that says 'markets may vary'.

My local TV listings say " Saints/Giants or Redskins/Cowboys" Under the MNF timeslot. But I think you're closer to the "Giant Market" Matty than I am, so if you turn out to be good, I will too. At this point, I'm planning on just making the drive home to watch the game with my brother (cowgirl fan) on the dish. I heard last week Direct TV would show it, I'm gonna call ahead and make sure though.

Unfortunately that "market" may be SA and NY (thats whos playing, right?)...ah, finally an NFL team comes to SA and it interferes with my Skins...

But because the large population of Cowgirl fans maybe they'll have the game on...

I thought the Skins/Cowboys stayed on ABC and Gints/Saints switched to ESPN.....but could be wrong.........If you watch the dallas network be sure to use the mute button and just watch the video.........

although I sympathize with the Saints and their fans, I was thinking the same thing......hardly get to see the Skins and this juggling of the schedule louse it up even more....

The Cowboy fans are so stupid, when we were pushing for an NFL team, they kinda thought that if SA got a team, they would get to see their new team IN ADDITION to the Cowboy games :rolleyes: All I want is my Redskins.....I just hope they can pull off that deal after 2006 to let cable systems get the NFL ticket..........

Thats the thing, I'm not sure if my area (and I belive Matty might be in the same boat) is really a Giants region. My local sports team is the Buffalo Bills, so I dont know if were a Giant town too? We defintley dont get every NY Giants game each week.

here in NYC we were supposed to get the Skins/Bears game, but they went right ahead and showed Saints/Panthers over it, despite the listing.
