Arizona Roadtrip Update

I'm copying a message I have left in a couple of places to make sure anyone who is going to the Arizona game in December know that there will be a pretty good sized group of redskins fans from all over the country in attendance. Here is the post from the other site(s). Please don't misinterpret this as advertising, I'm simply trying to get as many fans together in the desert as possible.

[quote]For those of you who are late to the party, we have been working on this since July and have done the following:

We have a group section in the endzone for the game which member illone on extremeskins.com has purchased and collected money for tickets. If you are interested in joining us, contact illone by PM to discuss tickets. I believe 64 tickets have been sold already so that will be the basic size of our group.

Besides the 64 many others have bought ticketrs on their own and will be joining us for the tailgate which should be huge. More to come on this but once again illone is overseeing the tailgate. If you would like to join us, volunteer to help out, or contribute financially please contact illone.

I offered to find a hotel for many of us to stay at and we decided on the Twin Palms Hotel in Tempe. (info can be found at twinpalmshotel.com)

Rooms are available at $69 per night for the group and we already have a bunch of people staying at the hotel from Extremeskins, redskin-roadtrips etc.. If you are interested in reserving a room at the same hotel from us please PM me, I will give you all the details but here are a few...

Our location is an ideal place to be whether you are coming out to see Arizona State University or just to do some sight seeing. We are in the heart of downtown Tempe where you have choices of restaurants, shopping and night life.

All of our rooms include bath robes, microwaves, refrigerators, blow dryers, coffee makers, iron and ironing board and 90% of our rooms have balconies with beautiful views.

We also offer 24 hour transportation to and from the airport and a three mile radius of the hotel with 24 hour security.

After your guests arrive at the airport and retrieve their luggage, they can call us at 480-967-9431 and our complimentary shuttle will pick them up. The night before they leave, we have a sign up sheet for them to sign and our shuttle will go to the airport every 1/2 hour.

We also have International House of Pancakes on property which is open 24 hours and within walking distance to many more restaurants and night life in downtown Tempe. We also have the shuttle that will take them a 3 mile radius of the hotel.

The stadium is directly across campus from here. If you were to walk from here it would take you 15 minutes to walk. During games we have guys on bikes out front that will also give rides to the stadium. Mileage is about 1 1/2 straight across.

There is a large forum dedicated entirely to this trip on redskin-roadtrips.com at the following address:

and at extremeskins at the following address:

if you have any questions, comments, concerns please feel free to PM me because posting them here just makes the thread too large and out of control - thanks.

I hope to see some of you guys/gals there!!!!!
