New rankings: Skins 14th in Dr Z's & 9th in Sportsline
 

CNNSI's NFL page even features a blurb about how Dr Z has come around to moving the skins up in his rankings. Seems as though someone was truly impressed with the win against Dallas.

Granted, the Niners don't have a stellar defense. But maybe after seeing the Cowboys rack up 30 points on them (along with the 30 or so they scored on San Diego) Dr. Z is impressed with the way we basically shut that offense down.

Plus TheMalcolmConnection did Dr. Z some favors in the parking lot of the SI building....does anybody have some Scope? Giggity-Giggity!

I think that the barrage of hostile email just finally pushedhim over the edge. At the end of his description he writes, "As poor Uncle Don said in his famous final show for WEAF Radio about 65 years ago, "That ought to hold the little b- - - - - - s," and he wasn't talking about his e-mailers."

It looks like the crazy Redskin fans have finally gotten to the Dr. I've never gone that far (writing to him), but it's nice to know that we have some crazy, belligerent emailers among our ranks.

well it's pretty funny because even though we beat the cowboys we still rank below them on the espn's most recent power rankings

Honestly, I'm suprised we've moved up that much. Honestly, looking at the Dallas game compared to the Chicago game, I actually thought we looked worse offensivley (obviously minus the ending). Hopefully that last couple mintues was an awaking of some kind and our offense will turn it around.

Our defense = Dominant!

I think that the real answer to the 49ers is that they have been a bit underestimated this season. Pasting ANY team with that many points is an achievement, let alone a great Dallas defense. It would be wise to keep an eye cocked in their general direction since we too will have to play them come Week 7.

What the hell is he doing, he is doing this on purpose, wtf. Look at the beggining, usually beginnings in power rankings are about why the number 1 team is one and what was good about the week his is 5 sentences long and all of it deals with redskins e-mails. "If your team got wasted in this column, please, no nasty e-mails. I feel worse about it than you do. Hold off for a week. I will straighten it out in a subsequent opus, as the folks in the D.C. area will learn, in a shocking surprise move guaranteed to quicken their senses." what is he talking about, i never understand what the hell this man is saying. Someone explain please. Is he saying that if a team got a bad rank that he will correct it soon as he gave the skins a bad rank and now has corrected it?
