Interesting read to keep you thinking http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/football/168970_draft14.html |
FYI, its about how Winslow II is the best player in the draft. |
That's great....let the seahawks take him then. WE WANT TAYLOR!!!!!! |
Article mentions a Seahawks practice squad WR called Taco Wallace ... I'm guessing it's not a nickname because it's not in parentheses. What would you do if your parents named you "Taco"? That's one of the most terrible names I've ever heard ... the only thing worse would be if the guy had a last name like "Bell" or something. |
The only real downside to Winslow is his agents. I know most of us prefer Taylor but getting Winslow if far from a disappointment. |
The only real downside to Winslow is his agents. that was one of the good things about being a Skins fan, we get all of free agents before the free agency period, and trade away all our picks. So we know our cards before March. Im not used to all this stress. ;) |
as long as the war room doesn't debate too long on which one to take and pull a Minnesota blunder. |
I cant beleive they did that two years in a row |
they'll never live that down nor should they be able cuz one year is bad enough but to make the same moronic mistake two years in a row is insane. |
We should trade down with the Vikings, then trade up Lions. Mabye we end up with an extra 3rd or 4th, and get the same player we would at five because the Vikings wouldnt pick at five. |

Might be a lot of competition for that spot. By the way, as long as we don't trade away the farm to move up, I think we are in a no lose situation at 5. KWII, Taylor and T. Harris are the three top college talents at positions of need for us and both KWII and Taylor are being touted as "impact players". If ST and KWII weren't a safety and tight end, we would have no shot at such top quality talent. Stay put and its a win/win at no additional cost. : ) |
I dont think we should consider getting rid of five. If they find ways to get other picks without disrupting our team then fine, even if they want to dig into next years. But please please keep the 5th pick |

I think Winslows and Taylors stock are both rising fast. Only because they are a TE and S are they even going to be available at 5, but dont be surprised if peopel jump up to take them above some of these QBs and WRs. The only person that will definitly go ahead of five is Gallery. Other than that theres plenty of speculation that teams want to trade up to get their guy. The top four might have it made, they might all trade down adn get the same player they wanted. |
