Yeah them stats are scary but we are THE 3-0 WASHINGTON REDSKINS!!! We have a tough schedule though and could end up only winning 7 games or so

Or we could end up winning 10 games without a whole lotta upsets. Don't start believing that just because teams were good last year that they are still that good this year. The Rams, Raiders, Cardinal, 9ers, Cowgirlls are not unbeatable right now. If we pick up a Giants game and one of our next two....

These rankings are from FoxSports.com. Their system is based on a computer program that uses last year's rankings and a bunch of formulas to come up with blind ranking. It is a bunch of bull. Worse than the BCS computer. It has us ranked 16th in defense. I mean, come on, 16th????

I really don't care about rankings, but common sense has to mean something.

All it tells me is these are the kind of stats that mean shit. Are those the only teams to ever win their first 3 games? No of course not. In fact I'd bet the vast majority of teams that win their first three games make the playoffs. I think the number is like 70%. Are those the only teams to win their first three games by less than 3 points? I bet not. So who were the others and what did they end up doing? Selective use of stats to make a point is stupidity and puts you solidly in the "hack" column in my book.

Oh, don't let us forget the infamous post on the Cowboys.com how no matter what the scoreboard said, the Cowboys won that game.... :biggthump How many times in this series over the last 10 years could we have said that. what about last years game in dallas. we owend them all game and lose it in the end. time for them to get over it, and stop rationalizing it away.

I think we can win this game against Denver, espcially is Bailey doesnt play. That should make for a big game for Moss. And you know Portis is going to try and bust his ass this week. We should be able to stop their run and Plummer cant lead his team to victory without a running game. I hope Lavar plays and gets four sacks on plummer

Rankings suck and pro football ratings suck even more. Foxsports DOVA must stand for Dumb Obsolete & Very Asinine. We're the 5th best against the run, yet DOVA has us 10th and 16th against the pass and DOVA has us 21st.

Good thing we'll get to prove it on the field. No wonder everyone is picking the Broncos to beat us, they are the 10th ranked team and we're only 18. If we had to depend on rankings, we'd never get a BCS bid.

I can't wait until our offense starts to really click, then let's see how the hatas spin that.
