(Merged Threads) Any Positives????
Well, besides the turnovers, at least our offense seems to be clicking pretty good. Moss continues to be extremely impressive and Brunell continues to be playing pretty well too. Other than that, there alot of negatives:
1) Injuries to some key guys ---- We need Shawn Springs back in a bad way, and Griffin going out concerns me as well....also, Casey Rabech's injuries looks like it will sideline him for a game or two. 2) Turnovers - 'nuff said, but I've already stated that in another thread. 3) Penalities...see #2! 4) I'm sorry, but in two weeks time, the defense has given up three huge plays - two runs for TD's last week against Denvers, and one screen pass for a TD that shouldn't have happened against this defense. Can't really blame all three turnovers in putting pressure on our defense. Two of those turnovers came deep in the opponent's territory. I'm tellin' ya, the defense just doesn't look as impressive to me as they did last year. Don't get me wrong, I do think they're a good defense, but their missing something! |
Re: Any Positives????
Griffen was back in the game today, I wouldnt be too worried about him.

Re: Any Positives????
yes, the positives are that I now know for sure that we need to bench Dockery, and need to draft or acquire some solid offensive and Defensive linemen. T

Re: Any Positives????
Moss and Brunell look good.
Our offense moves the ball. We've still got a winning record. |
Re: Any Positives????
Moss and Brunell did look good, but after Moss got 160 yards he was taken out of the game, he quit early. Brunell didn't come through in the clutch.
|
Re: Any Positives????
Don't blame it all on Moss and Brunell. I don't believe they quit early or didn't come through..the fact of the matter is, we can't turn the ball over and expect to win every week. It's starting to catch up to us now.

Re: Any Positives????
I didn't break anything....came close.
|
Re: Any Positives????
It was alot easier to defend our offense down the stretch too, considering our only opetion was to throw the ball.
|
Re: Any Positives????
On the previous drive, I was a bit surprised we didn't go for it on fourth down.
|
Re: Any Positives????
Plenty of positives... if we can get some guys healthy on D (Springs) I think we'll be fine.
The sky isn't falling. |
Re: Any Positives????
If NYJ was on the phone inquiring about Ramsey a couple of weeks ago we should've suggested them giving up CB Justin Miller for him.

one positive
from my calculations Santana Moss is the leading reciever in yards so far this year.

yes sir, as R. Moss was first in yards per game and put up a goose egg this week, moss is averaging 126 per game, closest to him is like 114 per game on pase for 2020 yards, 13TDs, 19.1 average, 106 receptions. his middle name is terrell, santana terrell moss terrell moss, the best of both worlds |
Re: (Merged Threads) Any Positives????
We look like we can beat anyone if we don't turn the ball over. Seriously, if we play like that, and protect the ball, we can win just about every game ahead of us.
