I dont think Smoot has signed his player contract yet. I dont think his number has been decided yet.
I also saw this:
And there is no way Landry wears number 1.

That's what he wore with the Vikings. He used to be #21 as a Skin, but that's Taylor's now. I don't think anyone on our roster has #27... Actually I just looked on Redskins.com and they have Smoot listed as #27 on the roster.

This is just a draft type jersey, he's not wearing #1. Most come in with this unless the # is already pre determined.

Maybe his number hasn't been decided but, unless I am grossly mistaken, he signed his contract back in March.
