| Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" So... I went out to get an authentic Cooley jersey yesterday and place I went to was out. (i'm in PA) So I was looking around the store for some more Skins gear and saw that the offical equipment Redskins Hoodie (the kind from the commercial on NFL Network all the time) was $75!!! FOR A &*((%%(*% SWEATSHIRT. That probably cost the sweatshop 23 cents to make it. This may not be worthy of its own thread but what's the worst rip off you guys have seen on NFL merchandise?

| Re: Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" Then you can cut the sleeves off, wear it every day and break up a marriage by getting sex from another guy's wife because she thinks you're an NFL coach. |

| Re: Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" I would definitely buy one of them if they weren't so much money...but without cutting the sleeves off

| Re: Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" It's really unbelievable the cost to be a fan of a sports team. I used to be able to afford to buy some skins gear when I didn't have kids, family, etc to provide for. I just can't see spending $75 for a sweatshirt personally. Just to go to a game can literally cost you a few hundred dollars for 1 ticket. Insane... |

| Re: Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" I don't know if anyone read that thread about Skins merchandise from Jellyfish.com but I was on there the other day and got a replica Portis jersey for $27 INCLUDING shipping. I would check out that site. They had those sweatshirts going for $45 including shipping.

| Re: Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" Dmek, what would all of our mennonite neighbors say if they knew you spent $75 on a sweatshirt?

| Re: Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" For what it's worth, they are really nice. If you look at prices on hoodies from Nike and Reebok - the nice stuff - you'll see it isn't just NFL stuff that carries a premium. Obviously apparel generally carries a huge markup, and this is no exception, but they are very good quality. And, I mean, you were going to buy an Authentic Cooley jersey and if you were looking at the real deal those run $250-$300 so what's another $75?

| Re: Insane Pricing on a "Hoodie" heres the deal, basically between rap videos and whatever else i guess pop culture its now popular to wear this stuff and bum all around town. my point is big business makes a huge profit off of the manufacturing of the hoodies because they are made by illegals. illegals come through texas like crazy, in turn the reason we pay so much is because of the goddam dallas cowboys |
