![]() In the last couple of years in the Russell Era, the tone lightened up quite a bit. There is no debate about the jersey being the officially licensed jersey of that time (1987-1989), it is. I simply posted that photo in comparison to the jersey that was at the start of the thread in relation to the authenticity of the numbering. Also, when analyzing pictures often-actual colors can be distorted based on exposures, etc. Obviously the Jamie Morris photo is over-exposed but it illustrates the point that photos do lie, so if it looks to light to you, it is for that reason, not that it isn't an authentic There is a difference, however, in this jersey from the on-field version of the time. The side gussets that run from the bottom up around the armpits were never available when the “authentics” were being produced in the late 1980’s. | |
