| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game I've actually gone to a Redkins/Eagles game at the Vet. I've had popcorn and beer thrown all over me. As obnoxious as Eagles fans are, there is some respect if you come to play... |

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game no better than face value but most likely it will be like selling preseason tickets. if you aren't ready to take a complete loss just go to the game. |

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game Philly fans are probably your best shot to get face value. There will be a lot of green jerseys next week if Philly is still alive for the playoffs. |

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game You are gonna get hammered for telling a redskins fan to sell their tickets to an eagles fan.

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game I'm just gonna go. The more I think about it, I think I was just upset about the game. The experience is fun, my wife is excited about going (she doesn't like watching the games on TV, but she enjoys going to them), and who knows, we could win. |

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game Thats the attitude to have. I wish we would win just to quiet some of the chicken littles around here.

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game Portis sat there with a smug I told you so grin on face. I lost a lot of respect for CP in the last week. Makes me sad. At this point I'd rather see Portis go then Zorn.

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game I agree, but I think we're in the majority. I cant see Portis playing a whole lot longer at this pace. The guy is falling apart, but luckily for us he can play hurt. How much longer is the question.

ps - if i had to drive 5 plus hours one way i probaly wouldnt go, you my friend are a super fan for doing so, danny doesnt deserve your sense of loyalty. just know years from now when we go to the SB you will feel more joy then the others who choose not to be there during the tough times. times like these make the good times taste that much sweeter. plus when we beat the eagles we get to watch first hand all teh iggles fans crying over their lost season like we are doing here now. | |

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game I'm driving up to S.F to see the Redskins which is about an 8hr drive for me. I was really hoping we could win the last 3 games and make a run at the playoff's but now I know that S.F will be the last game of the year. ![]() I'm still excited about the road trip though and the game. I have 1st row tickets next to the Redskins bench so maybe I can get an autograph or 2. Either way I would never pass up a chance to go to a Redskins game. Everybody wants’ to go to the games when the team is wining. It's the true fans the care about there teams even when they suck. Glad to see you’re going to go Skinsfanatic. Just think of it as a nice trip with the wife and going to the game is just a really cool bonus. Like you said ya never know the Skins might actually win.

| Re: Thinking about getting rid of my tickets for the Eagles Game I think the 'Skins won some very exciting games this year (NO, Arizona, the Eagles twice, and the Cowboys in Texas). And I agree with the comment about Portis...remember, we traded Champ Bailey and a No. 2 draft choice for a guy with an ego so big that he put himself over the team. He had negative comments about the offiensive line, then put Jim Zorn on the hotseat just because he wasn't in the game against the Ravens. Now all I hear on the radio sports talk shows is "Will Zorn be here next year or will he be fired?" I say get rid of Portis. Sorry for bringing this up on this tread, but I'm really bothered by this. |
