| Re: Taylor Fined $17,000 These $ fines are of no consequence to any player. The only fine of any consequence to a player would be to take away his playing time. While I'm glad St will be playing I think the only way the NFL (or any league for that matter) to hit a player hard is to yank his PT. |

| Re: Taylor Fined $17,000 The fine was $17,000; the amount Taylor was to be paid for the game. Taylor has no proved history of spitting. The $20,000 Portis was fined was for multiple offenses (socks, shoes, visor) which he had a history of. If you only want to look at the numbers, go ahead, but there are other things to consider when comparing the fines.
