that's correct, and since the team will be travelling on thursday, he might not be doing it this week.

Re: No costume for Portis!

His interview was today. It is up on skins.com. They specifically ask why no costume.

Had download issues so I only got the first 1:30 maybe. He read a letter about how good looking he was and said he decided he couldn't dress up if he was THAT good looking.

Have a feeling this guy is banged up. Guess its all on Ladel Betts and the Defense to bail us out.

Re: No costume for Portis!

12 minutes long. The letter was from some "famous lady".. didn't want him to dress up, thought he looked too "beautiful". Won't read page two...

Had a discussion about some watches he picked up off a stranded UPS driver for a grand, and shared them with his teammates... 1k, yeah right!

He is in costume. He said he was Hot Stuff. Best quotes though, "We don't need me to do this to get motivated. We have enough motivation...one game away from the NFC Championship, two games away from the Super Bowl."

He said he is in character - his name is "Hot Stuff". He said he isn't superstitious, so he's trying to focus on the game, not on the peripheral stuff.

Re: No costume for Portis!

He also said he get hit in practice and that carried over to the game. I couldn't hear the question, so I'm not clear what injury they were talking about.

He also gave Alexander a backhanded compliment: he said that Alexander had a "soft" label on him for years, but look at him now - he's MVP. "If playing soft and running out of bounds gets you MVP, maybe we should all adopt that mentality." I don't think he meant it the way it sounded, but it didn't sound good...
