| Redskins Free Agents Ryan Clark Demetric Evans Rock Cartwright Robert Royal Ethan Albright Warrick Holdman Omar Stoutmire Chris Clemons Khary Campbell Ade Jimoh Cedric Killings Brian Kozlowski Aki Jones Should be interesting to see what some of these guys cost us to resign. Clark would likely fetch $1-$2 million per season. I'd like to keep D Evans, he makes for a very solid 3rd DE. Albright is a must to resign, he's a good long snapper, didn't make one mistake all year long. Chris Clemons is key for 3rd down pass-rushing, Campbell and Jimoh are great special teamers, and Omar Stoutmire played pretty well down the stretch. Killings was a solid 3rd DT too. We should be able to create enough cap room to keep the guys we want from this list. But who would you want to see stay, and who should go? |

| Re: Redskins Free Agents Albright is loyal too i can see him resigning his usual 1-2 year contract as long as he wants to keep playing . Othe than that Clark is a must but there may be upgrades to be had there. As for the others I would like Evens, Clemons, Killings, Jimoh Cambell and Jones as a prospect to return . The rest I would be happy to see back but not cut up if they wanted to go else where or if the team thinks they could get better and younger with their roster space . Just a thought |

| Re: Redskins Free Agents Because of the trade to bring in Jason Campbell, we're without a #1 pick this year. That's going to mean that we'll likely retain a lot of our current special teamers, because there will be less "young" talent on the team. Holdman, Clark, and Cartwright may get offers to play elsewhere, but none of the other players showed enough on the field to get pllaged. Another reason we may keep our free agents is that (yet again) we'll keep most of our assistants - if not all of them. One of the ways depth moves around in this league is that, for example, the linebackers coach gets a coordinator position elsewhere. He pillages his old team for good effort players that know his system (see the Bengals defense and the ex-Skins that Lewis grabbed). Our guys are all getting paid, and will likely stick around.

| Re: Redskins Free Agents Why isn't Cory Raymer on the list? If not he will be cut. I think we let go the following players: Patrick Ramsey Taylor Jacobs James Farris Cory Raymer Pierson Prioleau Ray Brown (retired) James Thrash Antonio Brown Ladell Betts Matt Bowen Walt Harris Robert Royal John Hall and of course Lavar Arrington if he doesn't renegotiate his contract. My immediate picks in the FA pool are: RECEIVERS Antwaan Randle-El Brandon Llyod Eric Moulds DEFENSIVE END John Abraham Lets see in the off-season if RB Manuel White and Nehemiah Broughton can boost our running game. If not let them go and find us a good RB in the draft.

I agree with you about Abraham. I didn't know about Givens and if Randle El is a true 3# we need him deseperately on kickoffs and/or punt returns. I almost forgot to put John Hall on the list. Why did we cut Nick Novak?

| Re: Redskins Free Agents Clark, Evans, Clemmons, Royal, Albright, and a guy who gets a lot of flack on here Jimoh are the players out of there that the skins will try the most to resign. There is definitely gonna be some roster fluxuation to get some younger, speedy guys who will be special teamers first other than the potential signing of a new de and starting wr. when does free agency begin again? is it march1st or 2nd? |

These are the guys I'd expect to at least get consideration for being cut or traded: Patrick Ramsey - saves $2.1 million Brandon Noble - saves $1.7 million Walt Harris - saves $2.0 million Matt Bowen - saves $2.0 million Cory Raymer - saves $1.0 million Taylor Jacobs - saves $100,000, maybe worth keeping him as a project? but he sucks. see, he doesn't even help us by getting cut, he's TOTALLY worthless! Derrick Frost - saves $450,000 Antonio Brown - saves $450,000 Lavar Arrington - trading or cutting him after June 1 saves $7 million in 2006 cap room, but we'd carry $6.5 million in deadcap money in 2007. Some of those guys I'd consider certain to be gone, like Noble, Raymer, and Harris. Probably Bowen too. Lavar and Ramsey will get real interesting, though. | |

your on to something there. reggie wayne will be a free agent and the colts will also need to try to resign edgerin james so it's possible they don't resign wayne. i think wayne would be a good fit for the skins.

| Re: Redskins Free Agents i don't think getting t.o is even a possibility, just for the fact that joe gibbs would not want him. nor would 95% of us skins fans.

| Re: Redskins Free Agents Reggie Wayne would make a great #2, Ike Hilliard is also available but he's getting up there in age isn't he? Regardless, top priority goes to resigning Ade!
