cuts, re proration over an extra year, turning option and roster bonuses into signing bonuses (to prorate them), taking high base salaries and turning them into SBs too. could clear 19-26 million in space (and push cap problems back a few years).

without a new cba, the 30% rule owned us and turning certain bonuses into SB didn't work.

without a new cba we could have been royally screwed though

luckily gibbs was here so players were willing to help out.
