| Re: jon runyon yea he has been healthy the last few years so he is pretty reliable, but unless Philly improves there running game their team isn't going to be much better than they were last year. They won't make the playoffs as they stand. |

The New York Jets were actually willing to pay Runyan double the money in the first year of the contract and millions more over the life of it. Runyan couldn't leave the Philadelphia market in which he felt so comfortable. The Jets tried very hard to get Runyan to sign, but in the end they could not get the deal closed. looks like the eagles got a decent deal for him.

They have a great D coordinator and they are disciplined. Also, they are embarrassed. They were very tough when they had abslutely nothing to play for. |
