| Re: Sportsline Power Rankings Pete, I'm sure I'm your typical "angry Skins fan", but I just wanted to write you to find your rationale behind the snub of the Skins in your power rankings. I don't think anyone is doubting they did indeed spend and spend. But let's also remember they made the NFC divisional playoff game running solely on the legs of their all-pro running back. I just can't help myself in being a bit peeved that none of that was mentioned, it's all about how the Skins spent for unproven commodities. Sure, they're unproven, but did the Skins get WORSE? If they didn't get worse, did other teams (notably the other NFCE teams) get that much better? TO is not the solution for the Cowboys, he's a hired gun that may put you over the top if you're on the cusp of winning the Super Bowl. The Cowboys are not. The Eagles will most definitely be back in contention, but a healthy McNabb doesn't instantly make them that much better. Concentrating solely on the Redskins signings this year, Fauria is NOT a receiving threat, he was brought in specifically for blocking. Also, let's remember that Andre Carter posted 10+ sacks in his short career and we all know Williams has a knack for getting the most out of his defensive players. Looking at the areas the Redskins addressed in FA, there's NO WAY it can be said that they were improvements over the old crew from last year. Overpaid? Sure, but Taylor Jacobs, Jimmy Farris and others were invisible. This team will only go as far as Mark Brunell takes them, but I think it's being a bit shortsighted to say that overpaying is going to equal less wins. Sincerely, Ben Hartless Just sent that to Pete.

| Re: Sportsline Power Rankings Once people are ON the bandwagon, they don't get off. ex. Cowboys fans. There's SO MANY remnants of them around here from the 90's teams that I constantly question, SOOOO who's the Cowboys QB right now? And they have NO f-ing clue.

| Re: Sportsline Power Rankings Was I the only one who didn't notice that we cut Santana Moss, Clinton Portis, Chris Cooley, our entire O-line, Marcus Washington, Sean Taylor, Carlos Rogers, Griffin, Daniels, and all of our coaching staff? Because according to that analysis of how our season will turn out, I can only assume that Danny cut all these guys just to sign a bunch of role players. These guys are morons and they wouldn't know a smart offseason move if it kicked them in the balls, which is what I'd like to do.

| Re: Sportsline Power Rankings the biggest most obvious thing all these media haters are forgetting is the addition of al saunders! to me, this is the biggest addition to our offense by far. even without fauria, antwaan or lloyd i would say the the hiring of saunders moves us up at least 4 or 5 notches in the offensive rankings this year. |

| Re: Sportsline Power Rankings Just horrible analysis. Is it my imagination or do these guys, like Homer J Simpson, get stupider every year? I think you could actually chart the downward movement of their football intelligence. They see nothing but stars. "Culpepper quarterback good Saban discipline". He can't be serious can he? When exactly DID Daunte become a "pocket passer"? I think that when they watch an NFL game they see what I saw when I was eight years old. Its just a blur of motion as they desperately try to follow the ball and figure out what happened before the next play is run. These are the people that figure out it's fourth down AFTER the kick.
