who's line will be better skins or denver

I know Denver's offense is supposed to be able to plug in just about any RB and still have success but if i recall correctly Gibbs has had great deal of success with multiple RB'S as well.Denvers's o-line always seems to be mentioned as one of the best units in the league even though the are not the largest or most talented so look at this

Denver's o-line
LT Salaam 6'7 295 solid player seems to be injury prone
LG Hamilton 6'4 283 couldn't find that much about him
C Nalen 6'3 286the anchor of the line and 4 time probowler
RG Dan Neil 6'4 285 solid player
RT Matt Lepsis 6'4 290 best tackle on the team
TE Sharp 6'2 230 great reciver

Redskins o-line
LT Sameuls 6'5 310 probowler with a chip on his shoulder
LG Dockery 6'6 345 a big man with unlimted potential
C Raymer 6'3 300 solid player but injury prone could be a problem
RG Thomas 6'5 306 has the potential to be a probowler
RT Jansen 6'6 306 what needs to be said except he the leader and a true hog
TE Cooley 6'3 265 unproven but good upside

With Bugel coaching these guys i think the will be better then thne denver o-line and sometime in 5 years Portis will get his 2000 yeards
and be the best back in the game. what do you guys think about this

I like our offensive line. I'll go as far to say that they're the best in the NFC East. This year will be an improvement over last year. The blocking schemes last year were just awful. Our season was over as soon as other teams realized that we couldn't stop the blitz using the 5 guys up front; and our best blocking back was only 5'7". Has anyone heard anything on Canidate? Are we keeping him around?

As much as I want our line to be better than Denver's this coming year.... I unfortunately have to say Denver is still better. I want to see our line prove they are better on the field before before I say they are better.

Our line has two player that are not as strong as Denver's.
Dockery is the #1 weak link on our line. I agree he has great future potential, but he has not tapped into it yet. Bugel will have to work his magic to get him to turn it around quickly.
The other postion we are weaker is Center. Center is the leader and signal caller for the O-line on the field. Denver has us beat there. Nalen is a 4 time pro-bowl player.

One very importment player you failed to mention for the Broncos is TE Dwayne Carswell. He is a monster run blocker. When healthy, he is a key player to the Denver running game and pass blocking . Carswell plays a lot because Denver uses a lot of two TE lineup. I don't think we have any TE/H-back/FB with the blocking skills he has. Carswell when healthy is like a 6th O-lineman (kind of like our old Don Warren) a very big and physical blocking TE.

Didn't the Broncos just lose Alex Gibbs as their o-line guru? They may have some trouble without him. (Those Gibbs boys sure do know o-lines!)

Our o-line is bigger; also, Cooley is the H-back, not the TE. Rasby (I figure) is the TE. In Gibbs system the TE is basically a 6th lineman.

Which o-line is younger? Maybe they're better now, but we'll come on next year and there after...

I have great faith in Buges getting this group to play up to their potential.

It's hard to judge now, thinking back on the OBC/Helton fiasco.

The fact we have a running game now will make our oline twice as good as it was last year. Between being able to have a threat at running back, and a coaching scheme that has blockers, we should be a ton better. But a game is played you gotta go with Denver, our oline was horrible last year, absolutly horrible. We all want change this year, I think it will come.

Nice thing about Portis is he needs a small hole and will make his own plays once our boys clear that tiny hole for him. I see Portis breaking off some game breaking runs this year.

As Skins said. Until our line show's that it's geled I have to give the nod to Denver.

geled, a word that has not been said about the skins in a positive way in years...The only thing I can say that geled last year was the fact that we only had one kicker, that was nice.

Until we prove it on the field, Denver is better. We are always good on paper, we thought so last year as well!

Having said that we have more potential than Denver, but that is it, we have to do it on the field.

I think we can bet on Gibbs taking a page or two out of the Denver running game. He's not going to force Portis to run between the tackles and be a power back like Riggins or Byner, he'll play to his strengths.

I'm going to have to go with Denver's line! Why? Becuase they are leaner and more mobile. In the end time will tell which line is better.

Are Alex Gibbs (former Denver and current Atlanta OLine coach) and Joe Gibbs in any way related? I don't think they arebut am not sure (woulda thought we would have seen that in print somewhere).
