| Re: Patten to be released? Hearing about his release is getting tiring. There simply isn't any rational for releasing him now....before training camp even starts. Unless Patten is asking to be released I don't see him being release this soon if that.

| Re: Patten to be released? this is bull, people were positive he was gonna be cut earlier, deadline came, nothing happened...whatever we will see, i still do not think he is gonna be cut...Moss, AR-E, Lloyd, Patten, and Thrash.....im shaving my eyebrows if jacobs stays on the list and patten gets the boot.

| Re: Patten to be released? My only concern is that the coaching staff is talking up Patten in order to create a market for him. If he's "making great steps forward", then he has value. If he's "clearly not in the mix", then he doesn't.

The fact of the matter is Patten is better than probaboly both Thrash and Jacobs...why would get rid of someone who is a better player than another person? Pattne has stated that he is more than happy to compete for playing time, so that tells me that if he's not the best, he dosent mind not playing, or will work hard to see that time. Jacobs is a freaking joke, how that guy even stayed on this long is amazing to me, its time to cut our losses with him and move on.
