Re: NFL Network may be Dropped

I have time warner and hate it...but I get DTV for the season so I'll never miss a game; but I'm not going to be able to watch the Skins' preseason re-runs!

Re: NFL Network may be Dropped

If the NFL channel really wants 2 bucks a month per subscriber, than it makes total sense to not have it on expanded basic. Keep it on the sports tier (which for Adelphia Digital Cable costs about 3 dollars per month). That makes more sense than raising everyone's bill by two dollars.

Re: NFL Network may be Dropped

I have Comcast in the Richmond Area (Chesterfield) and had a scare last night when I lost the NFL network, I called and they said the NFL had blocked it because they did not have it either on there programming. I woke this morning to find it had been reestablished. Before the weekend was out I would have been joining those DirectTV customers. This shit is nuts.

I have Cox cable, and I have the NFL network. You have to buy the sports tier for a few bucks a month.

Re: NFL Network may be Dropped

i'll look into it, but last i checked, i'm paying them 90 a month (cable+internet) and i'm not sure i want to shove in for an entire digital sports tier for one channel... but i guess that's the choice.

Update:

Time Warner Reinstates NFL Net - 8/4/2006 8:42:00 AM - Broadcasting & Cable - CA6359461

"As of midnight,Time Warner complied with the FCC's order to put the NFL Network back on in systems it has just acquired from Comcast and Adelphia, but it has appealed the order to the full commission and has begun running a crawl on the channel warning viewers it may take it off again."
